In Essence Island Flower - Tahitan Monoi Hand Cream
Description (from In Essence website)
This nourishing and readily absorbed hand cream contains the unique moisturising properties of Monoi. Further enriched with regenerating Shea Butter, Jojoba and Vitamin E along with soothing honey and Aloe Vera extract, this exquisite hand cream with its sweet enticing Frangipani aroma, is not only a delight to the senses it also hydrates, conditions and leaves hands silky smooth.
Packaging
A white tube - just like toothpaste. 110 ml.
Color Selection
They have the Hydrating Range and Lavender as far as I know.
How to Apply
Massage liberally onto hands to help smooth, soften and protect skin every day. Re-apply as often as required.
Ingredients (from In Essence website)
Water, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Glyceryl Stearate SE, Cetearyl Alcohol, Dimethicone, Glyceryl Caprylate, Frangipani Fragrance (Parfum), Cocos nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Gardenia tahitensis Flower Extract, Prunus amygdalus dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Simmondsia chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Daucus carota sativa (Carrot) Seed Oil, Glycine soja (Soyabean) Oil, Honey, Althaea officinalis Root Extract, Potassium Cetyl Phosphate, Carbomer, Tocopheryl Acetate, Aloe barbadensis Leaf Extract, Triethanolamine, Disodium EDTA, Retinyl Palmitate, Calendula officinalis Flower Extract, Butyrospermum parkii (Shea Butter), Alcohol Denat., Ascorbyl Palmitate, Ascorbic Acid, Citric Acid, Potassium Sorbate, Amyl Cinnamal, Isoeugenol, Benzyl Salicylate, Butylphenyl Methylpropional, Linalool, Benzyl Benzoate, Hydroxyisohexyl 3-Cyclohexene Carboxaldehyde, Hexyl Cinnamal, Limonene
Paraben, sulphate and mineral oil free.
Coverage
Good.
Texture
It's creamy just like any other hand cream. A little too creamy to my taste, but I never really like any hand creams. But you might find such texture more convincing in dry weather. It's pretty humid lately so I don't know if I would like it better when it's drier.
Spreadability
Easy.
Finish
I feel the cream stays on top of my skin instead of absorbed in. I don't like it. I feel sticky and need to wash my hands again after I apply this. The smell is a mix of tiare flower, coconut, shea butter and frangipani - not exactly a favourite, but it's nice. Very feminine.
My General Rating
I don't really like hand creams, I find them too sticky to my taste. I prefer normal lotion. Of course, normal lotion would not work a well as cream in hydrating, but I don' mind.
Overall Rating
2 out of 5. It stays on my desk - for a long time.

Mavala Lip Balm
Description (on Mavala website)Mavala Lip Balm protects and takes care of your lips. It relieves damaged lips, wraps them with its fine, velvety texture and its subtle vanilla fragrance. This balm protects and repairs, thanks to its balanced formula made from a botanical complex based on pattersons curse, heart seed and sunflower oil, which provides a shield effect and soothes.
This complex is combined with apricot (efficient against free radical scavenger properties), aloe vera (helps cell renewal and smoothes), shea butter (nourishing) and filters (to help prevent premature ageing). A perfect restoring product for dry and chapped lips and for retaining suppleness.
Packaging
In a lipstick tube in white with the brand printed in red. Simple and clinical look.
Color Selection
There is no color selection, just one basic lip balm
How to Apply
Use on bare lips or after lip tint. I like to use the lip balm whenever I see it, just as often as deemed necessary. I have super dry lips so I apply this quite often. And I always apply before I go to bed at night.
Ingredients
I think the description describes enough :).
Coverage
Good.
Texture
It's like super sticky lipstick.
Spreadability
Easy.
Finish
Sometimes it could leave white layer on my lips, makes me look rather pale. So I usually use it on top of lip tint when I'm outside, just so that people wouldn't stop me thinking I'm gonna fall fainting haha..and yeah, it's that pale.
My General Rating
I like that the lip balm works. Not all lip balm work as well as this one on me - I have dry lips. And I like that it's in the form of a stick, I don't like sticking my finger on a jar of lip balm - or any jar of any cosmetics. This is practical. What I don't really like is the whitish finish on me, makes me look really sickly. But for the result, I don't mind it. I can use lip tint underneath anyway. Even my boyfriend like the product - he once borrowed it when he got his allergic coming near his lips and the skin got very very very dry (it even leave cracks for dryness), this helps. And eventually I just bought a new one for him, for emergency purposes. The slight vanilla smell, I don't love, but I don't mind.
Overall Rating
4 out of 5. If not for the whitish finish and vanilla fragrance, I'd give full mark.

Silky Girl Pop Soda Lip Jelly #02 Grape Punch (Medium Pink)
Pardon the super small picture, can't find a better quality one.
Description (from various resources)
Limited Edition Silky Girl Pop Soda Lip Jelly gets its name because it is transparent, like jelly. It contains vitamin E, leaving lips feeling soft and supple, and the color lasts on the lips long after application. First apply two layers on the lips and wait for 20 seconds. The lips will change to a long-lasting shade of pink.
Packaging
A lipstick tube in silver with transparent top (so that you can see the color inside) and bottom that is also jelly like in color, just like what you see inside. I like the packaging - I like to see what I'm having and I like to not have to open the tube just to see the color inside.
Color Selection
5 flavors to choose from but the result are the same pink color, here they are:
#02 is grape punch. It smells like grape soda, not overwhelmingly sweet but just right. Like the smell (that's why I chose it). Wanted to buy all of them just cos the packaging is cute but managed to control myself (cos the resulting color is the same hehe..)
How to Apply
As in description, I apply it twice on bare lips and let it turn into pink on my lips (it said to turn to medium pink but on me it's just light pink). On bare lips will stick better and then I'll add lip balm (when I remember to).
Ingredients
Sorry, cannot find the details.
Coverage
Good. The color don't show so I tend to use a lot, but the result is the same, it doesn't matter.
Texture
Just like lipstick but transparent.
Spreadability
Quite easy for a lipstick.
Finish
Can I say balmy? I can cos it's my blog. It has balmy finish, just like after you use lip balm.
My General Rating
I like the cute packaging, and the smell, and the product design (jelly transparent). Those are the things that draws me to it. Other than that, I don't really like the resulting color on my lips, I prefer it to be darker, perhaps medium pink - as it claims. Despite its balmy texture, I find it drying on my lips, but almost all lip products do that except for lip balm. I like the packaging, that's all.
Overall Rating
3 out of 5. Only like the product design and packaging.

VOV Glow Lip Tint No. 2 Cherry Red
Description (from various resources)
Lip Tint that will represent the smooth and vivid colors to paint immediately. Liquid type of lip stain that does not feel sticky, with a long-lasting adhesion.
Packaging
Simple transparent plastic bottle with cute, flower-printed, pink top. The applicator is one of those with stick and small, fur-like tip instead of brush (as seen in the picture). I personally like the plastic container cos I tend to drop tings haha..so plastic is good for me. It came in a box in the color similar to the top bottle, very lovely and feminine (not necessarily etude-cute but more towards classic cute).
Color Selection
3 shades to choose from, here they are:
I bought no. 2 Cherry Red, its almost exactly as the color shown here although the redness can be modified during application. Love the color. It looks vintage red on me, but very natural as it is a liquid lip tint. When I apply it many times, it could get as red as the Cullens (in Twilight) lips. Love.
How to Apply
I usually apply it on bare lips so that it sticks better, and add lip balm after so that it wouldn't dry my lips. That way I would have natural red lips - which I really like. For formal gatherings or just when I feel fancy, I'll add lip gloss for a shiny finish.
Ingredients
Sorry, cannot find the details. I threw the box away after purchase.
Coverage
Good, but it may depend on your lip condition as well. I find it sometimes difficult to get it sticks to my upper lip when it's very dry - and I have dry upper lips almost constantly :).
Texture
Very liquid, it's practically watery.
Spreadability
Very easy.
Finish
By itself, it has natural looks, just like when you just drink water - it is watery. Although it's called "glow lip" I think the glow comes more from the color instead of the texture, you need to add some lip balm, but it's okay if you don't, personal preference. It will give the redness it promised regardless.
My General Rating
Color wise, I like it a lot. Like it so much that I actually finished the whole bottle! Never before such thing happened as I like to buy new products to try and ended up never finish any of them. But this one, I stick to it till finish, even considering to repurchase. Never thought there will be a product I will ever really finish (except for face powder). I do think it is best to use it with lip balm just so it wouldn't dry your lip, but I don't complain. I like the texture more than other lip tint, watery works for me.
Overall Rating
4.7 out of 5. The color. Just for the color I'd give this much. Love!
Price
IDR - I'll update when I repurchase.

SIlky Girl Moisture Max Lip Gloss - #05 Raspberry
Another lip gloss review, this time from Silky Girl. Enjoy!
Description (on Silky Cosmetics Website)Enriched with Jelly Base to provide your lips with maximum moisture. It is also formulated with Shine Boosting Agent that imparts a bee-stung effect with high-wattage shine on your lips minus the tacky, sticky feel. This caring lip gloss contains Repairing Essence to repair and stimulate the production of collagen; thus lips become firmer and fuller.
Packaging
A square simple bottle. Very light gold top (almost silver) and clear glass bottom. The applicator is one of those with stick and small, fur-like tip instead of brush (as can be seen in the picture).
Color Selection
8 shades to choose from, here they are:
Number 05 Raspberry is a deep peachy pink with gold glitter on its bottle. I seldom find anything orangey that would compliment my skin color so I tend to try even more eagerly to find something peach. I find peach with pinks are best on me, and when I find a good one, I'm ecstatic.
How to Apply
Apply by itself on bare lips for glossy and slightly colored finish, or on top of lip tint for a more colored outcome. I said lip tint to avoid the stickiness from lipstick to mix with this one.
Ingredients
Sorry, cannot find the details.
Coverage
Very good.
Texture
Sticky liquid.
Spreadability
It's not difficult, but if it's more liquid maybe it could spread out more easily.
Finish
Glossy with colors. The colors shows quite more than other lip glosses I know. I like to use it by itself on bare lips or on top of my red lip tint for a subtler yet glossier look. Staying power is okay for a lip gloss.
My General Rating
Color wise, I like it a lot. I do tend to like things with gold glitters on it, and the peachy pink color is a nice addition to its goodness. I don't really like the stickiness but the moisturizing power is really great, one of the best I think. It even beats some more famous brands on that. I hope they could make more make up in moisture max range. It's one of my go-to counter whenever I happen to visit a drug store, just to check out if anything new is up *wink*.
Overall Rating
4.2 out of 5. It is good in its moisturizing power and the shade work great on me. I like Siky Girl moisture max range both lip stick and lip gloss.

Max Factor Vibrant Curve Effect Lip Gloss - #03 Trend-Setter
Finally! A different product review as I wished. This time I'm reviewing my recently acquired lip gloss. The..
Description (on MaxFactor Website)
This season’s lips are going glossy, glossy, glossy! Arm yourself with our slick new Vibrant Curve Effect Lip Gloss to put yours in the spotlight. Hot from backstage and tested by our top fashion make-up artists it’s curvy applicator hugs your lips for a fuller, more curvaceous look. With its high shine, non-sticky formula and 10 new irresistible on trend shades to try there’s no excuse to fade into the background.
Packaging
A sleek, thin, minimalistic, and elegant bottle. Black top and clear glass bottom. The applicator is one of those with stick and small, fur-like tip instead of brush (as can be seen in the picture).
Color Selection
10 shades from clear with gliters to dark. The one I chose to buy and review is #03 Trend-Setter. It's a clear peach pink liquid with gold glitters. SUPER lovely.
How to Apply
Apply by itself on bare lips for glossy finish or on top of lipstick for a more colored outcome. For daily wear, I like to apply lip gloss from the center of lips and let it naturally spread out, gives a more natural look.
Ingredients
Sorry, cannot find the details. But the beautician said it consists mostly of fruit extract that is very natural.
Coverage
Very good.
Texture
Liquid with some stickiness a bit less sticky than normal lipgloss - a feature on its favor.
Spreadability
Easy and not too sticky.
Finish
Glossy. Very very glossy at that. I love it by itself or on my lip tint. Staying power is okay, as I don't expect much from lip gloss.
My General Rating
First of all, it smells awesome. I love the somewhat sweet fruity smell, like watermelon - and tastes like it too. It's not too overwhelming, but it makes me want to lick my own lips upon application (no worries, I didn't really do it). A neutral coloured lip gloss with flecks of gold glitter in it so it's perfect for both day wear or night wear. I simply love the color and the glitters. What more to love, is the moisturizing power. I seldom (or can say almost never) find a lip gloss that really moisturizes well. This one is a shocker to me. I have a very dry lips that reacts badly to lip make-up, but this one did what others couldn't. It fixed my lips. I haven't had dry lips for three days (since I start using it). Incredible. I love how it does what it does. I love color and texture and result aaannndd the healthy effect it gives on my lips. Plumper? check. In terms of color, as I choose a clear one, it is well, clear. But the rest are somewhat the same, it is only meant to give some color but not a vivid one. Which I usually find in lip glosses, and I don't mind. I do find it a bit difficult to find any other color that I like in the range but maybe I'll give another visit after such great performance, I wish some God-sent would send me more - that would be awesome.
Overall Rating
4.5 out of 5. It is good great in moisturizing but cannot find other shade I like-yet. I may change the rating later. And maybe more color selections if it's not too much to ask. Overall, very good lip gloss.

Kleancolor Nail Lacquer - #4 White
I don't intend for this to be a strictly nail blog but I happened to be reviewing 2 nail polishes I've been using and now here come another one lol..enjoy!
Description (on Amazon)Kleancolor nail polish featuring long lasting pretty colors with new bottle design. It is pretty, it is good quality, yet affordable price.
Packaging
It is package in a decent 15 ml bottle. Black curvy bottle top and clear glass bottom. The top reminds me of something from Anna Sui's, the princessy type. The brush is pretty big, quite difficult to use as it's not as flexible as some nail polish I know, but I think it's acceptable.
Color Selection
Many. This particular one I'm reviewing is in the basic white color, the kind you use for french manicure / pedicure.
How to Apply
I use white polish mostly for french manicure or part of nail art, but that requires tutorials. So, I guess just like any nail polish, prepare your nail with base coat. Then thinly apply Kleancolor Nail Lacquer - #4 White once, wait til dry, then another coat, wait til dry. Apply top coat for longer lasting chip resistance.
Ingredients
Butyl Acetate, Ethyl Acetate, Nitrocellulose, Ophthalmic Anhydride/Trimellitic, Anhydride/Glycol Coplymer, Acetyl Tributyl Citrate, Isopropyl Alcohol, Steralkonium Hectorite, Camphor Benzophenone 1 [+/ Red Iron Oxide (C177491), Titanium Dioxide (C177891), D&C Black No 2 (C177266), Ferric Ferrocyanide (C177510), D&C Red No 7 Calcium Lake (C115850), FD&C Yellow No 5 Aluminium Lake (C119140), D&C Red No 34 Calcium Lake (C115880)]
Coverage
One thin swipe streaky on me, I think it almost always happen on creamy polish (except ones from my favorite Mavala) but I somehow prefer this Kleancolor polish more that O.P.I. (forgot what's the white O.P.I. I have is called). For a french it will do well, the color is thick enough in one swipe but two is better.
Texture
Creamy and quite easy to apply. For a white polish, this one is one of the best I've used so far. I think it helps a lot in doing french.
Spreadability
Easy. If there are some bad strokes, it will blend out quite well when dry. I like it.
Finish
Creamy, shiny finish. But for shinier look you should add top coat.
If you apply very thinkly like I suggest, it is quite quick to dry, about 15 minutes (in air conned room) but I like to let it stay untouched for at least 30-45 minutes just to be safe. I hate to re-do a french.
My General Rating
Kleancolor is one of those cheap range polish that works just better than you expected. I have tried some of their colors and for the price, I think it's worth it. Some disadvantage is that the paint from the bottle top can somehow left behind on the screw so the screw will have some black flakes, it luckily didn't go into the content, cos it would be a disaster in white polish. I don't like the super strong smell either, but almost all brand smell toxic. I wish someday someone could create nice smelling polish, or maybe I will haha..
Kleancolor has so many color choices that makes you cry to pick just some (I know I almost did lol..). I like the performance, and it's a good addition to my collection. I would buy somemore when available.
Overall Rating
3.7 out of 5. It is good for french mani/pedicure.
